I have been writing professionally for more than 15 years. I am the author of several works of fiction and non-fiction. I am an op-ed writer for The Epoch Times on the subject of history and Constitutional studies. I was a journalist and editor before starting my own companies: BassTrapp Media and The Sons of History. I studied journalism at Sam Houston State University where I received my BA in Journalism in 2006.
Experience
I have several years experience as a tutor and teacher. My goal is to teach students simple ways to make writing and learning correct grammar and punctuation easy. I want my students to not fear writing, but to enjoy it. For many, this subject is very difficult, but my tendency in teaching is to create reference points for them in writing situations so they can go back to those points and always know they are correct. I love tutoring, coaching, and teaching because it gives me a chance to impart what I have learned in order to make the path to success much easier for someone else. There is a great sense of accomplishment when a student realizes that what they thought was difficult was actually quite easy.
